Evening Thoughts

Gonna talk just for a minute about the upcoming week and what weather to expect. You can find the updated forecast for Southern Tennessee in the forecast tab at the top of the page as well as a holiday week breakdown graphically in the special forecast section.

Monday- Last dry day for a few days. Very warm.
Tuesday-Thanksgiving- Rain, some heavy at times. 1-2 inches when all is said and done. Drought reliever for some areas of Tennessee.
Thanksgiving Night-Friday Morning- Much colder air rushes into Middle Tennessee. A few snowflakes could mix in with the rain for areas along the northern Cumberland Plateau but do not believe we have to deal with any wintry weather from this system here in Southern Tennessee.
Long Range- Things will remain chilly as we enter early December and a few storms tracking through the east could cause some wintry tricks. This period will be one to be watched as far as any serious winter weather threats.
